looks just like the one I got except your box says, "KOR".  I'm pretty sure I could replicate this 'only available in korea' blade with my printer.

  This is a real Korean Cypress S.  Over in Korea it is very hard to sell a blade with a thickness of less than 10mm.  The Cypress S in Korea is 10mm thick  unlike the US/Japanese version which are 9mm.  There is also a Taiwan version of this blade without print on the face.

Well, actually mine is 9.52mm thick.  So it's quite close - but there's always going to be variation in thickness.

you're out of your mind. .5-1mm makes a huge difference in play. THat big of a difference is not a variation. I can stand behind his claim of a special korean version of the blade. I've personally seen one from a professional player compared to a 9mm Cypress-S

I knew that the Korean Version is 10mm, but when I received it and measured the thickness, it's actually 10.54mm, a bit surprising to me, since NITTAKU differentiates Rorin10.0 and Rorin10.5 as two different models already. A 9.52mm and a 10.54mm are not "product variation".  As to the "Made in Japan-S" on the handle, it actually means this is "Grade A Cypress-S", you can read that information on the official butterflykorea website.  There is another lower grade 10mm yes still 10mm Korean Cypress-S, with "Made in Japan-A" on the handle, presumably meaning "Grade B Cypress-S".
So for the 10mm Korean Cypress-S:
Made in Japan-S ---> Grade A wood
Made in Japan-A ---> Grade B wood
