Pick whatever rubber you are comfortable with offensively and then just learn to chop with it secondarily.

dandoy stocks hurricane 3 in 1.8mm. I really can't think of a more versatile chop loop attack rubber...

I like Reflectoid.   I am not a chopper but I block, push, hit and do opening loops with it.   Until recently I had 1.5mm or 2mm Reflectoid on the FH of my 729 bomb.   I still have 1mm Reflectoid on the BH of one of my Samsonov Alphas.  Reflectoid is an easy rubber to play with if you prefer control over speed.  If you do a lot of chopping then get the 1.5mm Reflectoid but 1.5mm Reflectoid is a little thin for serious looping.

Doubt that it's similar, but the Globe 999 is an excellent rubber for chopping, easy to open up with if you aim to loop, and when used for flat hitting, the speed needed to kill the ball is there.

I would say it's fairly durable, if you take care of it properly. Clean it with hot water after every time you have used it and it should last a couple of months.

The thing about durability is that it all comes down to your demands on the rubber, as they all show signs of wear an are pretty quick, but I got my Globe 999 to last as long as any other rubber.

I have a sheet of 999 that is couple of years old now, but is still extremely tacky. Tackier than most right out of the package, provided that you keep it clean and covered with a plastic sheet when not in use. I've used both 999 and 999T, but never had any topsheet or sponge tearing.

I find hard sponges great for chopping. Personally, I've used H3 for chopping and it also works well. Also have to consider that you may want to occasionally counter-attack. You wouldn't want a soft, bouncy sponge for chopping, would you? Well, maybe, depends if you like to chop far away from the table or not.  As long as you get a thin sponge, 1.5-1.8mm, I think they work well. In the end, it's more up to your chopping technique.

I know that you are looking for shops outside of US. Icontek already stated that Dandoy sells H3 at 1.8mm. OOAK shop sells Globe 999 at 1.5mm.

Personally, I recommend the 999 -- cheaper price and thinner sponge would help develop your chop.

That's fine. Reflectoid is a great rubber too along with 999. Both are relatively cheap, so I suggest either of those two should be fine for starting out. 999 is much tackier than Reflectoid though, and I believe the tack on 999 lasts much longer.
