Compared to the YE, how "fast" is this exactly? Cause I'm sure that the speed of the ball has a lot to do with proper technique as well aside from just the physical construction of the blade..Just curious to how much faster this blade is to the YE

the carbon layers increases the speed dramatically by maybe 30-40%

I got the blade from a forum member yesterday.  The blade seems to have more vibrations than I would prefer, but I haven't actually played with it yet.  Just put on two sheets of one of my favorite rubbers and will maybe test it tonight.

This is now my primary blade.  I have lots of blades but I'm not a blade specialist.  I'm really happy I stuck Baracuda on this cannon - gives me the short game and looping game of a high spin rubber I love and can control and the hitting game of a cannon.  Not sure I could use this blade with any other rubber but the throw and the controlled speed of Baracuda as well as my familarity with the rubber (it was the rubber with which I first started seriously looping) make it work.

It's not a YEO with carbon - I don't think the top ply is Walnut like the YEO though mine might look odd because of the sealant.

The one thing I have learned (and I should have figured this out a while back) is that I can always pair faster and faster blades with the Baracuda.  But for anyone who wants to get more speed without compromising much in the short game vs the YEO, I can recommend this blade in my sleep.

Interesting......how fast and how much control does this YEO7 carbon blade have?    I recall seeing it when it came out and thought....wow that will be a out of control rocket.   LOL

So some say it's slower than a regular YEO?    Is it as hard feeling as the YEO?

A more interesting question is: is there a difference between the Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive 7-red logo-http://mytabletennis.net/forum/uploads/17688/yasaka_ma_lin_7.jpeg and Yasaka Extra Off 7Power- black logo of TT 11.http://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/tt-blade-yasaka-offensive-7-power-pen#.USUSozfpEvs

Whoever said it was slower lied to you.  I haven't used the YEO in a while, but I can't remember the YEO driving the ball like this sucker.  This blade is rated OFF+ for a reason.  It does have good touch though for the short game.  I think it feels as hard with a bit less vibration.

Again, I have to stress that I paired it with Baracuda, which is notorious for its offensive but slow, controllable, high-throw properties.  Could have a very different effect with Tenergy, but I expect the Chinese rubber crew to love it if they don't mind the weight.

I've been looking for more information and I've seen that is easy to mistake between 3 blades.

Yasaka Extra Special (7 plywood like Clipper with Walnut outer plies)
Yasaka Offensive 7 Power -YEO7 POWER- (like Ma Lin Extra Offensive with 2 carbon layers added, so 5+2)
Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive 7 (7 plywood like Clipper with Walnut outer plies)

I've been talking with an european Yasaka distributor and he tell me about that blade is teh asian version for Yasaka extra special.

I'm not sure if this point can be true but if you look in the asian web pages that sell this blade, they are not selling the Extra Special Blade.

Also, the distributor told me about they have the same 'origin' cost.

A very clearer photo:
