There's a very classical feel to the Virtuoso line in general, and it fits well with most rubbers. A lot of the time rubber combinations are just down to personal preference, and much depends on what you're used to or what you're trying to achieve. For example! The V-CRWi still has a fair chunk of flex to it - this isn't a stiff sledgehammer. My BH rubber is/was Omega V Euro, which isn't particularly bouncy but has some high-end catapult. Paired together last night it became an all-or-nothing combination. Amazingly solid short game, big speed in top gears, but I found it tricky to predict how it would behave in the middle gears. I switched it out for JP02 and was much happier. It has less high-end catapult but a higher basic speed, and this combined very well. More linear. But I'm coming from a pretty stiff blade so it's just being highlighted by what I'm used to currently. Some people would love the off/on feeling of a high-catapult rubber on a flexy blade. It used to be that soft sponged rubbers would have low-end bounce but a high-end speed cap (Rakza 7 Soft springs to mind). Some of the recent soft tensors have flipped that around and have a suppressed bounce in comparison but bigger catapult at the top end (already mentioned OV Europe, Victas V>15 Limber? Acuda Blue P3?). So it's hard to avoid generalising when talking about sponge softness alone these days. In terms of H3N, the only worry is the basic speed of the blade. It's OFF- with a bit of reinforcement. The flex works well with hard-sponged, linear rubbers IMO (Omega V Asia works incredibly well on my FH side), but would H3N be too slow without boosting? Only you can decide.

Hi all OSP fans,
I have two Palatinus masterpieces: Virtuoso FL (M size) and V'King UTCan Long time played with Virtuoso and it have great level of control and high arc, not very convincing on the blocks, but I still love it. edit my OSP family grew up: Edited by rdj917 - 02/23/2016 at 10:27am |

Finally my Virtuoso CRWi UNI Off arrived. A really nice looking blade.
Next monday I will be able to start the first test with this beauty. Actually it is my second OSP/Palatinus blade. The first one is a Virtuoso from the Master Series. |

Had a nice surprise this morning - package from OSP with a bottle of flex glue inside! Many thanks! I'll give it a try on my next glue job and report back.

I've been using the Flex glue for the last few setups and it's great. It reminds me a lot of Revolution's glue actually - heavy ammonia smell, quite thin, dries quickly, good bond, and anything more than 2 layers peels off the sponge reasonably easily. I don't know if OSP are going to sell it separately at some point, but it's a good glue anyway.

I have been using Chinese rubbers for my Virtuoso -Off (M). I want to move away from Chinese rubbers. What's the best none Chinese rubber I can pair with my Virtuoso -Off? Should I go 2.0 sponge or less? Looking for a controlled rubber.
I appreciate all your expert suggestions. |

I moved away from a chinese rubber on my forehand when using the Virtuoso+ and found Andro Rasant Grip and Tibhar EL-P both worked really well on the blade, they are similar, medium hardness rubbers with good control. 2.0/1.9 should be fine

I want to bump this thread.
I've never even looked at OSP/Palatinus blades until just the other day. Now that I've checked them out, I'm so intrigued! I really want to know what the one above is. Also, I didn't see anything of the sort on their website. Is there perhaps like a 5 ply version of the Musko/ Walnut outer version of the Virtuoso?

Yesterday
I had the opportunity to see a Musko off without rubbers on my club. The finish is flawless, the handle is so beautiful. I don't know how they play, but you can't compare the finish of a mass build blade with an OSP, they are not on the same class. The owner just like me is playing with a Viscaria at the moment.

I'm searching for a new blade and after lot of browsing, I like the OSP and rossleidy workmanships, very artistic if I may add. I'm currently using a Korbel and would like to upgrade from here on, so which blade do you guys suggest, virtuoso or ultimate or a Martin? Thanks in advance |
