What was the final conclusion on this subject? did folks see a change in feel of the blade when they put it through this process? Did the blade start feeling more crisper? Better hand feeling etc?

So, I did this today with a couple of blades and they both came down about 5-6 gms in weight after a few minutes in the oven. Will stick rubbers on them to see what changes I notice in their hand feeling.
