I played with Timo boll ALC and Tenergy 05 on both sides, very head heavy blade.
I am thinking to try innerforce ZLC or ALC, do these also get head heavy with T05 on both sides?
Which one has a better feel and good for looping?
Please let me know.

I have tried a friend's Innerforce ZLC + T05 (2.1). Very good setup. Good for looping from any distance. Mattenet plays T05 + Innerforce ZLC. The blade didn't feel head heavy to me with 2 T05.

I think any blade with 2 sheets of Tenergy will be head heavy. Both Innerforce ZLC or ALC will be good looping blade. The different is ALC is softer then ZLC. More flex on the ZLC.

The Innerforce series has a larger head size than the Timo Boll series.

Innerforce is more head heavy in my experience.

Agreed with batt, ZLC has more feel and is good at blocking, but once you use force on your forehand it can be dangerous.

even the alc has a weird blade face compared to the timo boll series?

i have had an AL, ZLF and have seen a ZLC and all their blade faces are unusually larger
I am a total Newb. Come at me!

my innerforce alc had a normal blade face size, it was 89g and had a much more woody feel compared to the tbs and boll alc. I had skyline and tenergy on it and it didn't feel head heavy. Anytime you use a new blade though the balance is going to feel a bit off, you just have to get used to it

And what are your impressions about ALC ? What is it like playing with it?
Are initial loops easy with it?
What about undercuts or drives?
...so many questions...Wacko
Sorry . Please share your ideas about it.
Would it be a huge boost if someone invested in it?

I tried an ALC with tenergies 05 on it when my friend did not want to use it any more. It felt very funny to me. Good on touch and spin, but I felt that I needed to generate lots of force for best effect. From what I could tell, it is more due to the softness and the extra dwell of the blade.

I loved playing with that blade I truly miss it and wish I didn't sell mine. To me it is a woody timo boll spirit. My initial loops seemed easier but its hard to say whether or not they are easier with a tbs because I always seem to play better with new equipment. Pushes and drives were the same as a tbs. If you are unfamiliar with how good a tbs is you may want to do some searches on the forum, im sure there are plenty of other people that can attest to the awesomeness of the tbs.

If you are coming from an all wood blade i would suggest an innerforce alc over a tbs. If you don't care about feel, I would just get a tbs because the differences aren't enough for the price difference.

tl;dr innerforce alc is a woody feeling tbs. Same or incredibly similar playing characteristics.

I played all three for more than 6 months each, the best feel is Zlc the lightest is tb alc but no feel. The innerforce alc is good in everything but is the heaviest and bad for blocking.

First off I havent hit long enough with any zlc series to legitimately compare them with anything.

The difference between the innerforce alc and timo boll zlf in order,

control- zlf is a much flexier blade. for me that means over the table shots are harder than with a stiffer blade. I would say that over the table the alc has more control and away from the table the zlf has more control.

speed- alc is faster. I wouldn't describe either blades to be speed demons though

spin- zlf is a very flexible blade thus creates more spin. Not to say that the alc is not for spin. I would give the zlf a 10/10 on spin and the alc an 8 or 9

feel- i felt like the innerforce alc has the best feeling of any blade. It's a great blend between the softness of carbon and the wood feel of a 5 ply wood blade.

When it comes down to it, its all up to your personal preference. You can hit the same shots with each blade.
