Hi again

I've found some videos from the 1st round group match between Denmark and France Smile.

I don't know how to embed them in the post, but here are the links anyway:

Allan Bentsen - Emmanuel Lebesson

Jonathan Groth - Simon Gauzy

Kasper Sternberg - Tristan Flore

Wang Yuegu is at it again.  Has she ever realized the legality of her own serve is questionable at best?

Given her tone, facial expression, and body language, it's more than reasonable for the umpire to take that action.  She could take a hint.  Hard to believe she is a team member of a defending champion.

What is 16:00 CEST in terms of US Eastern Standard Time (EST)?

After some googling, it may be 10:00 AM EST.
But, I am not sure.

Yeah it is 10AM. Also, it's listed that Japan vs. China is going to be on table 1, but its Japan vs. Germany.

Are you still on Eastern Standard Time? Most parts have switched to daylight savings time (EDT). So has Germany, and the time difference is again 6 hours. CEST means Central European Summer Time, not Standard Time, so that's a bit confusing.

choose the world champs and see if you can stream it

some times there is more than 1 channel, ie for table 1 and table 2.
lots of ads, but you can close the ads, or just full screen it.

I've just watched Ma Long's game against Greece on tape, did you hear Gionis' words after set 1? He's a f***ing machine, unbelievable! I think that really sums it up right now, Ma Long looks almost perfect und unstoppable most of the time, even when it's not against a top player he just stays focused and keeps on going...Amazing, I just hope he will stay healthy, it's a pleasure to watch him play.

That was one of the umpires talking, and he was referring to the scoring device (which has been acting up these past days).

Could you please give a full description of what happened to Wang Yuegu ?
What did you mean by saying "ejected"?

During Li Jiawei's match Wang got a red card for illegal coaching and was told to leave the bench and go into the stands. She refused and remained seated. Then the referee came and tried, and finally the Singapore coach persuaded her to get up.

Caught a glimpse of the sleek notebook, the interface of the scoring software looks pretty cluttered.

USA women's team has played 3 countries.
They sent Gao Jun to play against only one country. (Gao Jun won both her matches, 3 to 0.)

Why they didn't send Gao Jun to play more?????
(Some kind rules that we don't know anything about?)

*** There are 6 countries in a group, you can not send your strongest player to play against
*** all other 5 countries?  Thus, you have to pick and choose?  Is there a rule that no player can
*** play against more than 3 countries?

I don't really think they have high expectations for this tournament. Might as well let the youngsters gain valuable experience. Maybe Gao will play later in the matches to determine which countries relegate to the lower division...

Another old player still has skill to beat some much younger players.

Ni Xia Lian (49 years old from Luxembourg) in women 2nd division, group H.

She has won all her matches so far.

a lot of them are messed up, typical ittf incompetence, their live coverage of yesterdays table 2 was so bad that they missed the entire first matchDead

ZJK got to play in all 3 chinese matches whereas others took turn. Is ZJK China's first choice? I thought Ma Long is better and see how he demolished his opponents in the 2 matches that he played. Hope he got to play in the final. What is your favourite line up for China? Mine is:-

1) Ma Long
2) Zhang Jike
3) Xu Xin

Need to give these youngsters a chance as Wang Hao and Malin had got theirs.

Cheers,
