noticed that there has not been a post about this, as they do not appear to be available yet. wang xi dotec control plus persson exclusive OFF waldner exclusive AR+ appelgren exclusive AR ovtcharov carbospeed waldner legend carbon baum esprit persson seven am hoping the handle shape is like the epox powercarbon, as that has one of the most comfortable flared handles. Really looking forward for the Waldner Legend carbon , seemed to have hinoki outer ply.
Are they already available , i did not see any NA distributors carrying it?

yeah, they don't seem to be available yet. all the carbon ones have hinoki outer. i'm interested in the persson 7 ply. wonder how different it is from the powerplay and the old school powerspeed.
the powerplay has been one of my favorite blades back in the 38mm days... the newer powerplays don't seem to have that same feel as the older ones (they are also shaped differently). currently using the epox powercarbon which is great.

Why Donic Persson Exclusive OFF says OFF? On blade itself says OFF +

I don't believe Shoeler Micke actually has them, as I'm fairly certain Donic has not released them to the distributors yet.

I'm using it. It is not OFF+, it is about OFF-. Not hard, it takes the ball really good, and that makes SPIN. Smash is really good, and attack from MID-distance is super. My FH is H3 Neo, My BH is Ten05. It is "nearly stiff", but not fast, good feeling, block and push at BH is good. But not good, when you want to attack on BH. On FH, it is a monster. Really spin. The speed is not like carbon blade, but is really really fast when you attack close to the table. The handle is the best in these series, very nice handle, and good balance, not head heavy. I'm confuse now, to keep it or to sell it. Really good blade with the price. But rather slow for a BH attack.

Blades are available over here in Switzerland.
Waldner Legend Carbon is the most promising in my opinion. Not too thick Carbon/Hinoki blade. But what I wonder: Why the hell did they make these new blades so ugly??? |

Donic should stop exploting waldner. He was already the best he is 47 now and they are still making blades with his name. Thay should star exploting other player names.

I expect them to keep using Waldner Persson & Appelgren on their blades for at least the next 20 years. They are Legends and beyond compare.

I played recently with Ovcharov Carbospeed for about an hour, it has actually more control than expected, at least with a nittaku h2 neo on fh and a traction ms pro on backhand, wasn't even that heavy. Handle is different from, let's say, wsuc, bit feels nice too.
