Ishikawa is one of the poorest finishers,  I've seen her consistently blow big match points on several occasions, even with 5 match points, it's not safe to bet on IshikawaConfused

LGL was talking about Zhang Jike performance vs Germany in the finals at Dortmund.

He said that when Zhang was ahead, he was aiming to make the gap further and started to make errors and lost few points in a roll. Then when he was behind  (I think it was 6-10), Zhang took back each point at the time, and Boll went into the mode that he is ahead and in safety and started to make errors.

I believe same applies to Ishikawa

It's hard to believe no one from ITTF checks out their live streaming?   The reflection from table 1 surface simply makes it difficult to see the fast ball motion.   Some videos from table 2 are OK but not great.

Also, it seems the audio reception isn't great, either.

I can't believe ITTV doesn't move they camera so we have a front view of the dancers.
They really need to go to film school for a few years. Or maybe they can tune into some other sport to learn.

Just watched the finals and some other matches - unbelievably, unprofessionally bad videos. Basically you cannot see the ball... ever.

Such a disappointment - and this is not the first time it happens. Can't ITTF video guys (who supervise  this thing) get it into the checklists - check the frigging videos on the very first day!! and then adjust angle/distance/lighting etc if needed.

Professionalism of the governing body or lack of should I say
I hope it is just a one time error/mis-management.

I recently starting coaching for free at a local high school. I was going to give them the ITTV link, but I would likely destroy the sport more than trying to promote it.

Sad isnt it? As I said, just hope it is a one time error, and not a habit for those genius (I just have a bad feeling that it is going to continue)

I tried to search to see how ITTF presidency works, how they are elected or re-elected and how longs the terms are. Couldn't find anything off ITTF website. I've seen a few post mentioning that he was re-elected a few years ago in this forum, does any body know the whole thing?

No, it's either a bad positioning of the cameras re lighting, or bad background - like at one of the tournaments it was a very brightly colored floor, and white ball was barely visible versus that color.

But mostly it is lighting/flashes/angle and the fact that nobody cared to look at the resulting video so that they could adjust the camera position.

However it is possible that the video guy didn't apply proper color filters or B/W filter - but that again stems from the fact that nobody frigging cared to look at the videos!
