That blade has not been used for a short period of time as I can't get use to ST handle, I am a FL handle.

Possible fake looking closely at the pictures, another member on the forum pointed this out to me and I think he is right.

same seller, that's not good. the back logo is so crooked.

Let's ask him where he bought his stuff; hopefully not from taobao.com: $27 for a TBS and about the same for a Viscaria... Is it 100% sure that the Viscaria on Ebay (link above) is fake? What are the chances the TBS in this present ad is fake? 50%? 80%? please let me know.   |

The Bty logo on the BH side is not straight. I believe its a fake.
Do you think the seller will answer you honestly?

Yes, it has a known typo "peIrformance" on the face side. Can't comment on TBS, but the JTTTA font seems slightly different from tiehwen's pictures, but this could be attributed to different viewing angle.

I'm a bit worried as a friend I know quite well might've already offered this seller 175 USD for this "clone". Good catch/eyes, people. Without having looked @ my 2 pics. carefully, I'd have already been led to believe this being a genuine TBS ST. Then again few more detailed shots would help.

In China, sometime a genuine empty Mao Tai wine (#1 expensive wine made in China) bottle can sell for hundries dollars or more, this is just because someone can use this empty bottle make fake Mao Tai wine.
Is anyone saling the Butterfly black metal logo here? If yes, he/she is out!

The J.T.T.A.A logo is the same as Timo Boll Spirit I got this pictures from this link http://mytabletennis.net/forum/printer_friendly_posts.asp?TID=21826 I can confirm that this blade is real as friend of my who used to played in British national league gave it to me when he stop playing and I kept this for 4 years! The handle logo that you said it's seem sketchy, well I believe it's just the scratched as I used Canon 500D took all the photos so you all can see it in detail. Please have a look at it again, I am honest and that is why I put every pictures of the blade on the link so every body can see! If you guys need more pictures please let me know. I will posting the pictures all you need. This would a heart broken if this blade is fake as I always believe it is real... |

I do not know how to recognize a fake TBS and on all the photos above, it shows the typical pattern of middle plies made out of carbon arylate; I will not pronounce myself on the TBS (I asked above the general opinion about it for that reason) however I must say the link to Ebay and a fake Viscaria is not helpful to side with you. That's all I can say.
