I saw premiere of "Korea" TT movie last night

I think the producers spent all their money on table tennis coaching for the actors. Therefore, the strokes and techniques are the most realistic I've seen so far. (compared to ping pong(japanese film), ping pong playa, and balls of fury) With that said, actors are still actors. You're still watching under 1000 usatt players, and you need lots of close ups and camera shakes to cover that up. "Top Spin" the coming documentary will blow this "As One" away on TT action, as they are using professional TT players. If you've seen clips, you know what I mean. 

I really don't recommend this film to Chinese people, as they mock and belittle Chinese in this film.

To sum it up:

Really good trailer. Long and boring movie. Decent TT action for amateur actors. Not for the Chinese audience.

Definitely xxx or nc-17 rating.  Politics is worst than sex or violence in movies.  

I'd recommend the classic "Old Boys" for children.  just kidding.

I'd be surprised if this film has a sex scene or inappropriate violence.  

Given how Korean drama are structured there will be 1 hospital scene, 1 misunderstanding scene, 1 random crying scene, 1 self sacrifice scene.  Everyone will have perfect hair and make up all the time.

I will be getting ticket when it opens in my market, even though i know the ending already.

 

Uh, Sure, don't exactly go to the DVD stores for movies, but if you remind me in a few months, sure.
