Every rubber is different of course and so are the players habits concerning rubber care. Keeping it very clean and covered with a protector film goes a long way. I think using distilled water and a sponge most of the time with occasional use of rubber cleaners promotes long rubber life. Usually when your contact spot starts to turn a bit shinny it's time to change.

Without booster I think T64 lasts longer than T05.

2 months if i play regularly 3-4 times a week
if i train hard 4-5 times a week with tournaments 6 weeks...
the problem i believe comes from the tiny cracks in the sponge...while the topsheet is grippy it doesn't lift as well and if feel a bit deader

I used a sheet of Tenergy 05 Red 2.1mm for a whole year... I played about 3-4 hours a week. The wear was noticeable but the rubber still functioned.

One of the greatest masters who I know, uses penhold blade and short pips OX only one side. I gave him two sheets of 802 OX two years ago and he changed his rubber. Before that he had been using one rubber for more than 10 years. And the one before that he used against Istvan Jonyer in late 70's.
