Hello,

 I am 100% sure they have something for you as old tt blades is what they do :)

Another solution is to contact one of our favorite blade makers:

Ross Leidy http://rossleidy.com/ (read this thread too: http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=46506) --> great email communication for a customized blade truly fitting your needs.

OSP/Palatinus at http://ospblades.com/ (also oldstiga.com) --> the "old stiga feel" pros.

Hi, Phil
there were a couple of Off. Classic SB ST of that era which I came across here & there but their cond. were not as good as mine & their prices are astronomical at these days & age.
Best bet is get one 'REPLICA' made by the gentlemen here:
Good luck mate.

If you want to get the absolute best classic Stiga blade, you should definitely contact forum member TheCloud... for example, here are pictures of a gorgeous Stellan Bengtsson Offensive Wood from 1976 (only weighing a rare 86g) that he showed me recently:

But be prepared to spend quite a bit of cash though – a blade like the one above is easily $400.

You'd buy it directly from him - I'd guess the man has close to 1000 classic Stiga blades in his inventory.

Hey Pbradbury , I have a blade that you are looking for. I can email you the pictures.I purchased from German guy around 10 years ago. Played for couple of weeks with it. It is like a collectors blade in very good shape in original packaging.

@peter,
we should meet up @BP 1 day so you could let me look at & drool on this gem. May be after a timmy coffee or 2 you might give me a good discount so I could keep this gem (a positive investment) for ever. Big smile
Really nice old OC.

Is it an offensive wood?or allround wood? I cant see...
By the way i offered Phil one long time ago but he didnt want it coz it was from 1978 and he was after the newer version from the early 80's, and if im not wrong this must be also one from the late 70's. Is there a serial number on it?

This SS ST version of handle is different from that handle of my AR wood I posted, I believe the OC SS ST is older like late 70's or early 80's? Nice tanned  body & what a contrast of colors. Does it play as good as it looks. Dunno.
If I really want this bad, I think I stand a better chance of getting it 'cuz Peter & I live in the same neighborhood Big smile. To safely ship this gem (a positive investment Big smile) from Canada to anywhere in the world would cost Peter or any 1 HUGH bucks these days...like 70 Cdn? Also, its orig. old plastic is a collectible item too....

Tiehwen -thank you for nice comments!
Zolko - yes it is offensive wood , it is very fast and light with an incredible feeling. Number on the handle is F 41.The quality of the wood is very special.

Message to E.ZegnaFan - you committed yourself to purchase the blade almost 3 weeks ago , we agreed to the price, then next day you have asked me to wait a week then again a week. I waited longer than that and now not even an answer from you - way to go E.ZegnaFan !
Other forum members should be aware of the way you do deals.

For anyone who know how to send item aboard. Asking $50 for shipping a single blade from Canada to US is just ridiculous from the start! Just wonder I have to pay any broker fees or tax after that too !

@E.ZegnaFan
Shipping something as "precious" as this would cost any of us, the Canadians, an arm & a leg. I know the cheapest way w/o tracking service for just a small package by Air is like 8-9 Cdn $. That's what I usually do for any average priced blade. To upgrade to shipping for a gem as Peter's, w/insurance & tracking, it would cost 60-70 Cdn $.
We all know that shipping of anything from US is always cheap & if couple bucks/cents added, you get some insurance &/plus tracking, right?
NOT ALL of us here ship from US of A.
I think you should "update" or "revise" your Signature. That "Top Price paid" doesn't look right.
I don't think Peter would want to deal with you after this....

@Tiehwen, I bought a lot vintage cameras from Canada and know the ongoing shipping price from Canada Post from XpressPost, Expedited Parcel, Tracked Packet, Small Packet with no tracking....unless using UPS/ FedEx with always associated with $50 broker fees or Priority Worldwide pak which mainly use for the rest of the world ! Thanks anyway man Tongue

Hey E.ZegnaFan ,
you have suggested to me Canada Post for aprox $ 30.00 , you sent me the link and now you are bitching about it ! ? Second- if you did not like the deal , why did you agree to buy it and told me to wait and wait - you should have told me that you were not sure. Next time be a man ! and don"t be afraid to say no if you don't like something.I just want to warn the members here and move on.
