What are you storage like? Are you planning to control humidity and temperature? If I am going to do something like this, I would do something like what guitar collectors do.
I keep my blades in their original box, in the closet of a bedroom. I don´t pay special attention to humidity and temperatura, but i think it has a medium humidity % and around 20ºC.
PD: My guitar is "outdoor" LOL:

Is this an Epiphone Les Paul?

I had a Gibson L5-S custom (cherry sunburst finish just like this one and that one) purchased in 1992 and in 1997, 2 years after arriving in USA I somehow ran out of dough and had to sell it $300 for rent money!!! it was not in very good shape but still sounded so good!!!

I hope you sell enough blades to keep your guitar LOL.

For people who dont know about Butterfly Rein Lindmae Special Balsa Carbon ST blade, here is some info for you (sorry if there are mistakes in my translation):

"November of 2004. How the blade was born by Rein Lindmäe.

It still seems unbelievable that I played with one and the same blade for 25 years. I still remember very well when in 1979 in Japan I got as a gift new OFF+ blade. During that time this blade lost a lot off speed and during the latest test it turned out that after 25 years of playing with it, it had become ALL+ blade. Also it had already been amended for several times and because of that it gained quite a lot of weight (105 gr.!). Therefore, I had been dreaming for new blade for long time. I dreamed for a fast, light blade with a gentle and delicate touch.

After successful appearance in the Veterans World Championships in Japan, it was suitable time to do it and Butterfly came to rescue in production.

We are pleased to announce that it is has came to reality. Fast, sensitive and lightest blade has arrived from Butterfly.

Initially it was planned to make only few exemplars, but later we thought we will make some for sale as well."

"December 2006.

This blade has helped me to win:

Veterans Championships 2005 in Bratislava two gold medals
Veterans World Championship gold medal in 2006 in Bremen
Veterans Championships 2007 in Rotterdam bronze medal
Veterans Championships in 2008 in Rio de Janeiro silver medal

The first volume Lindmäe Butterfly Special OFF+ blades were surprisingly well received and got sold out.
Now, we are happy to announce that sales have received a new batch of those light (70 grams), and rapid Butterfly blades."

ABOUT THE PRODUCTION I CAN INFORM YOU THAT THIS BLADE IS MADE IN EU.

IF YOU DONT BELIEVE THAT IS IS GENUINE BUTTERFLY BLADE THEN YOU CAN ASK DIRECTLY FROM BUTTERFLY AND THEY WILL INFORM YOU THAT IT IS.

This is very good blade, I have played with it as well, but at the moment it is too fast for my level. In Estonia this blade is very popular and many players use it, soon will I. As far as I know you can buy this blade only from Rein Lindmäe Table Tennis Shop:

Its correct that we cant sell Butterfly outside of Estonia but this exact blade (Lindmae Special Balsa Carbon) we can sell worldwide.

Rainer87, thank you very much for the info Wink. I though that the Lindmae was made in China, and it is made in EU. Great!

I have the Iolite Neo before.  I love the handle and the design.  Too bad the performance is not up to par... Confused  Still a gem nonetheless.

Are you collecting "good looking" blades Antuan?  If so, perhaps you might want to consider Kong Linghui Special, TB ZLF, Kreanga Carbon, Ishlion.  These blades do looking spanking nice Wink

I want to see the rest of your collection soon.

Thank you Liulin04,
Yes, i´m trying to collect beautiful, exclusive and fast Butterfly and Stiga blades preferably with ST handle. From the blades that you´ve mentioned i have the KLS yet. And i would like to get de Ishlion ST. Timo Boll blades are too thin for me (soon i´ll sell a zlc ST one, hope). And the only Kreanga blade that i´d like to get is the ULC one, but i don´t know if it exists with ST handle.

yes it does.  I actually traded an almost brand new Kreanga Carbon ULC (ST) with another member here, but I don't think he will unload it.

One more interesting fact about the Lindmae Special blade. The ST version has a longer handle and also the playing surface of the blade is wider than have the other blades.

Instead of making a remark like that, better to elaborate.

I found my Iolite Neo's perform very well to my standards.  It blocks well, easy to loop and with power. I have both the FL and the SI versions.

I was thinking the same thing, except I had a "umph" moment looking at the Gergely Alpha, I can't believe I said, "umph, so pretty".

I should've clarify a bit.  I was hoping the Iolite Neo would perform nearly the same as the original Iolite, or maybe come to close to Viscaria or TB ALC or something, but I find that it is lacking somewhat in speed compared to the other popular ALC blades.  It does have very good control which met my expectation, and the SI handle is superbly comfortable.  Had the Iolite Neo pack a bit of "umph" in the speed and power, I may have just found my ideal shakehand blade.

Hey Antuan, you can't do this.  Treating us to pong porn in the morning while we're at work, you know how bad it is when people see us looking at pictures of these exotic blades?
