123. Butterfly Primorac Carbon FL Tamca5000

Weight: 92 Gramms Sized: 15,7/15,0cm Thickness: 7,02mm
with old tag and without Serial Primorac Carbon combines fine Hinoki outer plies with Tamca 5000 Carbon and a Kiri Core. The Handle of the Primorac Carbon is the comfy middle between Gergelys T5000 square-flared and the round flared handle of Sardius T5000.
In 1999 Butterfly claimed that Primorac Carbon was spotted second in the Speed range among the shakehand models behind the No.1 Sardius T5000 and ranked above the Gergely T5000. Since I ve tried these models I think Butterfly was either kidding or had no idea about the Facts since it is very obvious that both Sardius and Gergely are much faster than the Primorac. Despite the compact head size and the Speed potential it is still possible to create a serious amount of topspin. In 1999 a unit was priced at 96 USD, available handle have been ST, FL and AN.

I love Primorac Carbon: great feeling, powerful and thick with no vibrations. It is my T5000 favorito blade.

124. Butterfly Setaru FL

Weight: 79 Gramms Sized: 15,8/15,1cm Thickness: 5,3cm

End of the 1990 ies Setaru was ranked as one of the best allround to offensive blades. Classified as an Offensive Blade Setaru was designed for aggressive Loopers. With the Medium sized head the Setaru has been a very light blade. Due to its Limba outer plies Seatru has a soft feeling and is slower than the Primo OFF-
Available handles ST and FL. Sales Price has been at 49 USD.

125. Butterfly Polite FL

Weight: 77 Gramms Sized: 15,6/15,1cm Thickness: 5,19mm
Usually i do not collect defensive blades, most exceptions have been the ones that belong to the Tamca Family. But this Polite is a really nice blade and not very often available to pick up in this nice condition.

5-Ply-AllWood with old font and wonderful green colored straightened and flatened lense. The Polite was released in 1988 and has been available only with FL and ST handle. The ST Units have had the same thumb cut like the old Firehand and i guess the same Wood has been used for the handle.
Not really Logical at all is the fact that the next Polite with the blue colored lense has turned into an Offensive Blade.

126. Butterfly Hermoso FL

Weight: 87,5 Gramms Sized: 15,7/15,1cm Thickness 5,61mm
5-ply-allwood with straightened and flatened short lense and without Serial. Due to new font this unit has been produced in the early to mid 1990ies. Compared with Cresail and Kazan the Hermoso is the slowest allwood of this Family.
Manufactured with the classic Limba-Limba-Abachi-Limba-Limba composition Butterfly rated it as an Offensive model. I have compared it with an old Primo OFF- with the same weight and nearly the same thickness (88 Gramms/5,72mm) and the Primorac was just slightly faster. Officialy sold at 4.750 JPY there have been ST and FL handles, up to now i`ve never seen any CO or AN unit.

127. Butterfly Hinoki Shake Beat FL

Weight: 81 Gramms Sized: 15,7/14,9cm Thickness: 8,42mm
5-ply-allwood with old tag and without Serial.
Released in 2000 with compact head and rated OFF the H.S. Beat is a very thick attacking blade with hard feel. In These days only the Butterfly Ranato has been a faster allwood model among the Butterfly Blade Range. Tiffara, Moonbeam and Madash have all been much slower than the H.S. Beat which has only been produced with FL handle and has been sold at about 60 USD.

128. Butterfly Oberon FL Tamca 5000

Weight: 76 Gramm Headsize: 162cm x 151cm
Thickness: 5,9 mm
Composition: Hinoki-Tamca 5000-Kiri-Tamca 5000-Hinoki with old tag, without serial and blade print.
Probably one of the rarest Butterfly Models ever since it took me years being finally able to catch it for my Collection. After Butterfly had released the very first Tamca 5000 model they decided to continue and divide the series by releasing the next two models which have been
Gergely and Oberon. While Gergely had been the faster model the Oberon took the spot for the slower and more controllable Tamca5000 model. The "missing" blade print is usual for the Butterfly blades that have been released from the early to mid 1980ies. When i received this unit it has been heavily sealed and has had a few digs and dents. Finally, after the restauration of the best german repairmen, it looks much nicer.

Petra, you bother everybody with your repetitive  and unreadable messages...wherever it is, from the "for sale", "picture", "videos"..areas...
You'd better invest in a good English dictionary and not in TT blades.
Don't you have something more interesting to do or better...somewhere else to go ????

@ Petra

If you have a problem with your computer, you should ask someone for help.
But kakapo is right: The really unreadable writing is not the only problem.
Do you understand, what the different categories mean?
  • Pictures is a thread to present your stuff and if someone else does this you may be happy to see his stuff. You can leave a comment, ask him for more details or show your own blade ....
  • For Sale is the right category, if you want to sell or trade something or if you are looking for something. If you find something there that another member offers, feel free to contact him with PM. But don`t post your trading-offers directly into his thread.
Do you understand this? Normally it is easy to understand. So please stop posting again and again everywhere on this website.

Your trading-wishes have to be posted ONLY in the FS-category and if you read the rules (also easy to understand), you have to post these wishes in ONE thread. So you may open ONE LF-thread and ONE FS/FT-thread.

Actually you have 6 active threads + one closed, which is not visible as closed in the topic. Thumbs Down

By the way: most of your blades are in terrible condition. That`s the reason why you offer them again and again and no one buys them. I got several offers with email in the last weeks and did not answer any more. The reason was always the same: your offers were unrealistic and the condition of your blade was too bad. Maybe you should offer them on ebay and wait what happens.

When this discussion is finished, a mod should delete all these posts out of this thread (or I will delete my own post myself), because we ruin this wonderful thread with this shit. Maybe a mod should also contact petra and try to explain the rules again (and maybe better than I can do).

129. Butterfly Schlager Carbon Tamca 5000

Weight: 95 Gramms Headsize: 15,7/15,1cm
Thickness: 7,43mm

The model has been released after Werner Schlager surprisingly won the title in 2003, even weeks before the tournament started nobody was really expecting he could even reach the Quaterfinals.

Composition: Hinoki-Tamca 5000-Kiri-Tamca 5000-Hinoki with old tag and without Serial Number
(First Series)
Probably one of the fastest blades Butterfly has ever released. The previous owner of this ST unit has been Robert Gardos (AUT)

There is a huge variation between the weights among the Schlager T5000. From around 90 gramms up to 102 Gramms everything is possible. Usually the thickness is somewhere between 7,29 and 7,43mm.

FL left  : 102g / Thickness: 7,36
FL right:    92g/ Thickness: 7,29

Great blade Timo! The Schlager Carbon is the most powerful Butterfly blade i have tried. You need to train hard to control this blade. It is very stiff and it has a straighter trajectory than Primorac Carbon which is softer and allows parabolic shots with more dwell time.

Taming Schlager "the Beast"? I think i could train for the rest of my life and could not handle it....LOL
I prefer using main blades that I can control...not blades that control me Ouch

SC is not really "The Beast" as per some says. You could control it by pairing it with thin soft rubbers & that was what I had years ago. There's no need to have T80/T05 or any of these/other high end rubbers on to enjoy playing it. The last 2 (FL & An both old ver.) I used to own were 91 or 92g. I'd personally drop those which are like 100 over grams (no point to own & play with it).
Andre' Ho (Canadian Olympian), the son of our t/t club owner, as his mom told me, played with 1 when he was younger. She put it in her shop cabinet for sale long time ago.

130. Butterfly Klampar Carbon T5000

Weight: 89 Gramms Sized: 15,6/14,9cm
Thickness: 5,52mm

Klampar T5000 ST, old tag, without blade print and serial number.
It has been slightly sealed but never been used.
After the Oberon T5000 was out of production the Klampar Carbon probably took over the spot for being a lighter and thinner member of the Tamca5000 family.  Unlike the Oberon the head dimensions are much smaller and the Klampar is also much thinner. I am not exactly sure when the Klampar has been released, if i had to guess i would estimate that it could have been around 1982 to 1985.
Blade Composition is the usual one with Hinoki outer-Tamca5000-Kiri core.
