    Posted: 02/06/2014 at 1:22pm
Exist a lot of blades between OFF- / ALL+ blades. But I'm loking for personal recommendations.

I'm looking for a OFF- (minus, minus, minus...) or ALL+ blade, light 80gr. maximum, 5 plies (not necessary), little vibrations, soft outer plies... A good starting point can be a Nittaku Violin or under.

Nittaku Latika Light? Nittaku Clout?

Thanks in advance.Wink

Nittaku Latika Light is very good (handle rather small). Nittaku Clout is faster and is OFF class.

Just a few good ones: P500, Primorac EX, AVX 550, Burn ALL+(some vibration but good), Runlox-5 (P500)(anyone can play with this blade) Burn OFF-, Persson Power Allround. There are many more for sure but these are my fav's.

My hand is not very big...

I've got a SP5 (P500) but mine is extremely fast compared with other units. I want something ALL+ /OFF- clearly.
My first option is still Latika light bit I'll take a look to donic persson one. Thanks.

I have been looking at the Stiga Allround Evolution, CR, NCT, and Carbon to play with SP, so I will be keeping an eye on this thread.

I suggest IF AL blade. Light, optimum vibrations, well balanced.

Nittaku Violin is a superb blade with a lot of good reviews, great control and feeling. Also the Nittaku Acoustic is similarly a blade very well known for having very good feeling, so perhaps you may also want to look at that.

Violin is an amazing all+ blade, flexible but you may feel it is a bit hard. Acoustic feels softer but is a bit stiffer and faster, about off-.
For a soft feeling all+ blade, I recommend Nexy Lissom. It's a 7 ply blade but the central plies are parallel so it plays like a 5 ply.

forgot to mention that Latika is off-/off.
Other blades with limba outer like stiga allround, osp expert or butterfly grubba are other good choices.

I am currently using the Timo Boll off- on my current set-up, and I really like it! I have it with two Tenergy rubbers, and I feel like it gives me decent power and a lot of control. I do, however, have difficulty getting spiny serves with it compared to some of the more expensive Timo Boll counterparts. Overall,  I would recommend it though!

Donic Waldner Senso V1 or V2 match all your criteria.
This is 6mm 5 ply blade, with soft feel and great control.
It has good feel with little vibrations. Similar to P500 feel, but slower. Clearly All+ speed.
It is relatively stiff for an All+ blade and matches well with majority of modern rubbers including Tenergy 05.

Violin if paired with some slower rubbers can be considered ALL+ not otherwise and i wouldn't say it as All+ ; it is more like off- and with tenergies / blue fires / calibra it would definitely be playing off.

@right2niru
Well, speed is a blade characteristic independent from the rubbers that are used.  I agree that Violin is "fast enough" for offensive play, but it is rather flexible and you have to supply your own speed if you want fast shots.

Let me try to prove my statement that Violin is ALL+.

1) My game is ALL+ and I love Violin ;-)

2) Nittaku itself defines Violin as "mid-slow":

You may object that manufacturers' assessment of their own blades is often not very objective (pardon the pun).

3) Violin may be labeled as "offensive" by Nittaku. However, Nittaku only labels blades as either "offensive" or "defensive". Violoncello (aka Vioncello) is the same blade as Violin, only with a bigger plate size, and is labeled as "defensive". In the chart above, they have the same speed.

4) Other reviewers have objectively measured the speed of blades and have defined Violin as being ALL+ as well. E.g., the following is a review of Violin copied from IGSSTERN's web site (unfortunately, the English version was discontinued):

Two recommendations:

One is very cheap but surprisingly well-made - Gambler A/C (Zeropong sells it for $32 but it can be had at many clubs for as little as $19)

Second is (OFF- rather than ALL+) Yinhe Z5 VF.

Stiga Allround NCT.

Latika (not Light) under 80g is not difficult to find.
Life is too short for defensive play.

That is a beauty. Very high quality blade but the handle is on the small side. Plays very nice for a blade in the ALL+ class. I used grip tape and it felt fine. Played with it a few years ago then gave it away. Now I want another one.

a friend of mine is playing with grubba carbon, good blade.

Despirte the carbon is really all+ blade, with focused on control.

the main benefit is good sweetspot and good control.
