Weight is very important part when we have to choice new shoes. Since there is no information about this on internet I think if everybody here will write his shoes weight it will help us to choice what shoes to buy.
To ask stores not always help. First not always they are ready to check shoes weight, second, sometimes numbers they give is not real.
For example, recently I asked one of stores to check weight shoes I wanted to buy. They told me that between 2-3 kilos

I still play a pair of Butterfly 808's but I can't find them anymore.. They are SUPER light. I really don't like playing with heavier shoes but once my 808's fall apart, I will have to change.. People might think that I'm poor when they see my old BTY 808's but I don't use them because I can't afford new ones.. I play them because I can't find shoes that are similar to the weight of the 808's..

When the day comes, you might want to consider the Adidas AdiZero TT Shoes - they weigh only approx. 270g.

That said, picturing you playing without either a MegaDeth or Guns N' Roses tee and a pair of red or blue 808s is just... well... not right.

Do you have a link to a place that has those shoes in stock??

I'm looking for some GnR shirts but nobody seems to have the one with the old logo anymore.. I bought the ones I had at Walmart about 4 to 5 years ago when they had them but now, nobody seems to have those anymore.

Here's some more info about the AdiZero TT shoes (apparently listed here at 250g): http://www.tabletennis-sport.com/products/footwear/adizero-tt/

As far as places that have in stock, I guess it all depends on your size. A couple of German shops have some for sure:

• Contra

I own couple of these but gave them up after about a year because their ankle support is literally none and also they don't last very long however they are really low and helps very well in lateral movement.

For the price that those USUALLY cost, you'd expect them to last at least for a while.. That sounds disappointing. I checked again and Contra does not have my size :(

Weight sounds perfect but the only issue I see is that they "look" to be a lot higher than the adidas shoe or the old BTY 808's.. What's nice abou tthe BTY 808's is because they were both, low and light..

yes, they do have a bigger foot print and the shoe does come up higher than the old 808s would

but, the grip is absurd and they are pretty comfortable

what i found about the old 808 style shoes was that, for me, personally, they were really hard on my feet, so, i went to a 'cross trainer' type shoe for a while, but have since started trending back toward the smaller footprint shoes

:)

Yes, they are harder on the feet but I just loved how low and light they were. I really don't worry too much about extra grip as a little less grip is better for my right knee which has a tear in my right inner meniscus and aprupt stops or direction changes  aggrevate my knee. I need to have surgery eventually..maybe this winter..  I'm almost pain free right now but if there is additional stress on the knee, the pain might come back.. It has come back a few times..

250g weight is small size

They list it at 250g for a size US 9 / Euro 42 / 26cm / UK 8.5... so not that small. Perhaps add another 5-10g for a size US 10?
