Hi all,
I read numerous reviews on both rubbers. I still fail to understand why Blit costs (~$5) more than ERA. Does someone know why Blitz costs more? TIA LOLLOLLOL

P.S. I used ERA, and I am loving it.

Blitz is a newer generation tensor = Higher throw/spin over speed/ heavier/less bouncy short game almost identical to joola explode (47.5 degree versions)

Era 47.5 is a older generation tensor = Lower throw/speed over spin/ lighter/bouncier short game almost identical to joola express 1 (47.5 degree versions)

I have used Blitz  on bh for a couple of years and still prefer it. Don't like it on forehand.

Jim T's added comments are also on target.Clap

PME is an older version (Gen 4, I think) - doesn't mean it is worse. But it is different.

First of all, overall feeling from PME (I played with it for almost two years) is very crisp, rather hard, and not with a lot of ball feeling/control. Of course there is some and often enough of it but it is less than could be had with other rubbers. It is also not great in precise placement game against heavy spin.

Blitz (Gen 5) despite being graded as same hardness (47.5) is a bit softer, with better ball feeling. Certainly somewhat higher throw angle, therefore making it - imho - more suitable as BH rubber. Although I know players who use it on FH as well.

Also - what Blade said. Wink
