This is cool, he starts out with Indianapolis 500, I bought that game years ago.
But really simulations can only train you to make certain decisions and provide you with information. They do not really prepare you for the activity in real life. A table tennis simulation could train you to make snap second decisions about what shot to play and help you improve your strategy game. You can play a lot more points in a short time, simply because there is no fatigue involved. So your processing more information. This is the thing you could gain here. There have been studies that watching sports intensively allows you to transfer a minimum of the movement to your own muscle memory. But a game wouldn't help you in this regard, as the movements can be crude and incorrect. |
