Hello fellow members,
What are your thoughts about the Hurricane 3 Neo National version? Is it worth $100.00 bucks? Or should I stick with the Provincial version which is less than half price? Your comments are greatly appreciated! |

I think the biggest problem is that it's very difficult to get a genuine national product, and that even if you do the difference is not too large. Remember, the professionals try to get any edge, no matter how small, but a very small difference is not as important to an amateur. It depends on how risk-averse you are. Are you willing to risk that much money on such a small difference? If you're interesting in min-maxing I'd suggest getting a provincial sheet and boosting it.

well, National doesn't make you Ma Long, I think this is for sure. But if you are a millionaire and do not know what to do with you money, I would only play National rubbers.
It really depends on you if you are willing to pay every 1-2 month a rubber for around 100USD, the term "worth it" or the value of the product is really up to you. It plays better than commercial and provincial. But if you boost with about 4 or 5 layers you get even fast and spinny rubbers out of the commercial sheets. So I would recommend you to play provincial rubbers but if you want to have real national products, go for it ;) Besides your signature says Skyline National blue sponge, if you didnt pay around 150-200USD and bought it in China I bet you its fake! ;) |

@jack difference is very big between commercial and national. b/w commercial and provincial, it's not as big, but i personally wouldn't play with commercial. real national is like butterfly quality. if you're not seeing this, like butt stallion said, it's likely fake like last time you had the imitation printed national sign on a commercial sheet. i've only ever gotten two (from wang liqin) despite contacts linking directly to liu shiwen and zjk. my original contact went back to china and is currently an asst coach for shandong's provinicial team.

2700+ level players are perceftly fine with provincial rubbers, then I am fine with it too. improve technique rather.
