Sorry, but this is not 5ply hinoki blade, actually, there is no hinoki. Stipancic H is a 5ply hinoki blade.

That is not possible, because I can see from the photos that it is not hinoki, it is probably basswood.
edit: When I come home I will post you photos of Stipancic ST and Stipancic H without rubbers, then you will see the difference

That blade for sale is not hinoki, but it is baswood outer ply + abachi in the middle.
Blades from these are hinoki only with the letter H in their name. Edizg is correct here. |

ok. I quess you are right it is not hinoki. Better to know the truth. Otherwise this is a rare and good quality, sensitive Butter blade and that's the point...

Hello TT-Friends,
Stipancic ST mean, ST = Standard. To see in the green letter - Stipancic H (or Jonyer H) always have red letter... Very kind regards deti016 PS: by the way - a nice blade in best condition I think :-) |

All Butterfly Stipancic has straight handle , Deti is right, ST here means " Standard" with basswood top-ply and H for all Hinoki. Same apply for 80's Butterfly Jonyer, Klampar with metal badge.
70's series only has an "S" for Standard or omitted the "S". Late 80's series - 90's with plastic lens has only the name of player + (- H with all Hinoki ply) and AN, ST, CO, FL for handle Edited by E.ZegnaFan - 09/16/2014 at 10:09pm |
