I have an old Kjell Johansson Offensive Wood that I purchased in Late 1970's or Early 1980's.  (I am told that it is from 1979.  It has a serial E11, or E41. Not easy to read). It was my backup and was not used much.  I quit playing for almost 30 years and blade was stored with the original rubbers on.  Couple years ago, I took the rubbers off and it left a few small splinter marks on the non-playing surface.  It was repaired using light color plastic wood. Splinters were not as large as appear in the pics.  (I had to overlap the effected area)
Blade is in very good playing condition with no major dings on the edges.
