There is nothing wrong with cheap blades. I am in the process of testing some of the cheap blades myself. I bought some DHS PG-7 and some Nitakku blades around $40. They are not bad. |

I was so sure that Stiga would have the highest vote. I was wrong. It seems like a lot of people like Xiom.
So, for Xiom experts (EJs) => What Xiom blade that similar to TB ZLC? |

haha most of Xiom's composites are stiff and fast, I think you have no trouble finding something you like.
There's a Hayabusha series blade that's almost identical to the TBZLC, but I forgot which one exactly. Something with a Z. Edited by LOOPMEISTER - 11/20/2014 at 1:10pm |

If Stiga had better finishing then they would win. I believe they are getting better but they have a ways to go before they can match Xiom, Donic or Nittaku. My latest Stiga Clipper was very nice. I usually must sand every Stiga I have purchased in the past. |

Blades : Nittaku, Xiom
Rubbers : Xiom, Donic and DHS No need to "hate" BTY for such choice. Nittaku and Xiom are really making better blades and Xiom better rubbers. |

My vote went to the Tibhar for both blades and rubbers - high quality yet affordable equipment. Their apparel is also very nice.
Apart from one Korbel FL Japan I sold right after I got (dislike the handle) I haven't had anything else from Butterfly. My next purchases will be Victas blade(s). |

Butterfly is still the gold standard followed by Stiga
However the problem is that you also have to pay more for the quality. I have always recommended players to boycott Butterfly for reasons I won't get into and would lead to my getting banned from the forum for the 1000th time LOL |

Stiga's blade quality has been down recently. I'd rather get Nittaku or Andro.

Haha Stigas biggest fan! Stiga surely have a good image and a really great looking website. I haven't been a very big fan of their rubbers before the Airoc serie witch i'm now in love with! I think Stiga shares the number one spot with Nittaku.

I think Yinhe-Galaxy is the best alternative besides XIOM.
The XIOM Hayabusa ZXi even better quality than some SZLC blades |
