So that's what Andro uses to turn a Rasant into a Rasant Powergrip.
Viscaria FL - 91g

+ Hexer HD 2.1 Red - 49.3g(68.5g 〃 〃)

Not sure if you are recommending this or suggesting someone gives it a try on their own rubbers and reports back. Don't think it will be me.

I suppose it's the same as theanti slip compound for belt drives.
Probably full of VOC thus would easily set off the testers.

Thanks for sharing Igorponger, cool stuff I'm sure.

I have found using Softsoap brand hand soap will bring back a rubber from the dead zone. Makes the top sheet nice and soft and grippy again.

JUST A HINT. TAKE A NATURAL RUBBER TO SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Rubber sheet of natural rubber composition is known to keep up its tacky power for years, without any sign of deterioration.

And synthetic rubber will lose a good traction inside the stricking spot in a month.

It is not easy for a common player to tell synthetic from natural stuff.
The only thing one can do is reading closely through the printed annotation given on the rubber envelope.
Eg. the Kokutaku envelope says the rubber sheet is made of natural rubber.
Overwhelming number of rubber on market is a synthetyc material, very easy to tear out.

I used to use wd40.  Now I change my rubbers out and give them away constantly to try new batches.  But if you're trying to get another month or two of life out of an old rubber, wd40 works great.

Just don't actually use that stuff on your printer rollers.

Wouldn't putting any type of oil bring rubbers back? Some sort cooking oil - would do the job. This would avoid having to deal with various toxic materials.

Back in the late 70s/early 80s, Paddle Palace sold cans of this stuff.

How about this?
