hello,

I am a french violin teacher passionate about table tennis and since 2 years about penhold style.

In France, the penhold style is very few used and i am interessed to speak with penholders players.

here I am with a video :

I enjoy my self with discussions about penhold style, and if you want to correct my penhold style, don't hesitate !!

Bienvienue  to MyTT. Your game looks very good. I am not a penhold player so I won't give any advice on the style.
One thing I like to try and do is keep my arm and body relaxed. I try to generate the power from legs and core muscles. I try to keep my arm loose, this means I have to start the swing early to get the timing correct.

Hello from Cuba !, I am penholder too, it was something I didnt chose, just natural. I have been practicing for four years, how long have you been practicing ??
I think if you can keep this level in real matches it is ok, but receiving is also a dificult part also, special for the backhand, ¿are you comfortable a receiving with your backhand in real matches ? this is something I need to improve.
