You don't like any of the suggestions given?

The Spike P1 is quite similar to the Curl P-1r

Every LP is different but they are not that different.
I would say pick one you can get easily and cheap then add 2 magic secrets - 1. Lesson and 2. Practice.

Don't focus on how heavy your chop is - focus on technique(foot placement, body turn, weight transfer etc....) and being consistent. A chopper who can chop 10 balls In a row is more dangerous than a chopper with heavy chop but can only chop 3 balls.

P1-r 0.5mm is more controllable than P4 1.0mm and DtecS, so it should improve your consistency a little bit.  As others have said, DtecS is not as effective with plastic balls as celluloid.  I find it more difficult to produce heavy chops that bother my opponents with DtecS than P1-r.
I think your stroke is well-grooved for P4 so there's no need to switch, but transitioning to P1-r should be easy.

> Many single statements can be excerpted from posts and series of posts and be made to appear misleading. Statements can also be misleading if one doesn't read the thread.

I'm not talking about singular statements but rather when people give advice largely relevant to pros a large proportion of people reading will simply apply it to their own situation in lieu of substantial cautionary warnings otherwise. We all know this to be true even those who believe using pro setups is a good idea.

Overall the scope of what LPs typical players should be using is confusing enough that even the questions themselves are misleading. For example, until a defender becomes fairly decent most of their spin will come from reversal, not slicing fast through the ball. So with a simple demand for "more spin" it's impossible to tell without asking if that means more grip as it's been interpreted thus far, or more reversal.

If someone has aspiration to play like JSH though as the blade choice might imply, it means more grip and P4 is already has more grip than the alternatives presented.

Consistency is key but also very hard to maintain if returns are weak. Getting at least enough spin/depth to prevent the ball from being driven hard can be just as important. Most defenders without competent coaching (which is the reality for average players) simply do not slice at the ball hard/fast enough to spin it much, same as topspinners, for which a fast anything becomes a liability.
