Hi, Im planning to buy a sheet of 755 long pips for my dads c-pen backhand. I came across these two 755 on zeropong. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two?
aside from the lack of 0.6mm sponge and red color choice, they look the same with the same description and stats.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah get the $5 OEM. It'll play fine.

I like thin sponged LPs because I glue everything with rubber cement and I feel sponged long pips allows you to hit more freely than OX but if you're going with OX, get tear mender to glue it.

Gluing thin OX sheets can be tricky. I recommend following the process wturner posted here.

Little tip. If playing cpen with LP on one side. Learn how to twiddle. Will help immensely.

I have bought a few OEM rubbers.  The problem is that they come in black only and with a cheaper blue sponge and only 1 thickness.

If I were to remake that video I'd add a strong recommendation to use edge tape that extends from the blade to about the same height as the OX pips rubber.  Doing this really helps to keep the edge of the rubber from peeling up.

Thqnk you so much guys. I will def get the oem. I actually use tearmender for tt gluing :D . +1 for the video. It will be very helpful.

Now i understand the difference between oem and regular rubbers.

Was planning to add edge tape to the blade previously just for added protection. Now its a must.
