I've just found an old blade which I used to play near 5 years ago – Kong Linghui Euro.
It supposed to be 7ply wood with interesting composition – padouk as core, anigre as outer plies.
The thing captured my attention is thin black layers between wood. Any assumptions what is it?

carbon, perhaps?
There is no real "pro", "prov" or "NT" H3 in the market.

Might be Titanium. Is glassfiber black?

Could be just cloth or thin foil.

I have a TSP Allround blade (5 layers wood) which has black layers like that (so if you count the black layer, it is 7 layers wood).
Blade : Just wood
FH : black rubber
BH : red rubber

Maybe just the quality of photo is a bit poor, but there are 7 layers without these blacks.
So 7 wood + 4 black layers = 11.
Thats why I'm interested - the composition is weird & not equal to BTY specs (there should be no carbon or glassfiber).

It's quite possibly just a thick layer of glue. Similar to, say, the Rossi Fire.

As far as I am aware, the Kong Linghui Euro is 7 plies: anegre - anegre - anegre -padouk - anegre - anegre - anegre. The black layers may be glue indeed as suggested by Bran?

The composition looks nice on paper. I liked the anegre on the Yasaka Extra and Extra 7, as well as on the Grubbs Pro.

Not sure how they feel on inner plies, but it has a very nice feel, dwelly and soft but not overly so.

I don't remember how it felt 5 yrs ago when I've started to play with it, but I glued T05 yesterday and had a few hits. Feels very thick and almost no vibrations, sounds very strange. Produces exceptional spin in comparison with my white lens Persson Powerplay with the same rubbers but the feel is not as good.
I'll give it one more chance today :)
By the way, 2nd ply seems to be different from others and looks like thin layer of spruce.

Also, anigre supposed to be quite hard wood, isn't it? But plies on KLH Euro seems pretty soft, it is easy to make a scratch with nail on every wood layer from these 7. And hard wood usually is used as thin outer layer, here outer layer is quite thick.

So composition is still questionable for me, maybe email to BTY will make it clear.
