My Mendo MP falling to pieces and now time for chose FH and BH rubber. I chopsing Mark V on one side (will use with speed glue)
For other side - I want to contrast Hammond Pro Beta / Bryce or Bryce FX / Friendship Aurora I can use Water glue, Falco Long or Speed glue - from experience probably glue because it gives better result and feel. Please help me for it, because when I chose - I have to stay 6 months - I cannot EJ because I cannot rich expense on table tennis. I not lucky in good rich country live... I will get Hammond / Hammond Pro Beta / Friendship Aurora or Bryce , Bryce FX free... but I must chose in next few days. Probably Mark V for FH (spin, High throw, Control) and Hammond or Bryce for BH - bit lower throw, fast powerful direct rubber - can hit or spin. But can change sides and try FH. |

Get Aurora
Is a gret rubber, and the cheaper of the alternatives, I would probably compare it with Tibhar Aurus Soft. I buy it for my students in Portugal.

I am happy to see Aurora has such respect - I always heard good things on it too...
But Hammond Pro Beta for example also some people not glue fresh - some play Hammond Pro Beta with water glue... So Aurora would be superior to Hammond Pro Beta? Could anyone make at least smoll comparison? |

Bryce is an old generation rubber, I don't recommend it.
Hammond Pro Beta is an excellent rubber for backhand. I haven't tested Aurora.

729 aurora is awesome. The BH loop/ side spin is fantastic. Can play as FH also....
I miss it already compared my Baracuda currently. Havnt try Hammond Pro Beta but its more expensive so thats something to factor in. |

That's great - so it seems the choice is between Hammond Pro Beta and Aurora - both I can get free so price is not factor for choice. And STavros - please Hammond Pro Beta can use Speed glue on it? It becoming better with glue? You say Bryce is old generation - but that is mean that even with glue it cannot play good like Hammong Pro Beta or Aurora? tnks |

Hm... And what kind of blade suits Aurora better? Clipper-like, 5-ply, or, maybe, Butterfly ALC?
