I was thinking of getting a new penhold blade, and Intensity NCT looks very nice, except I feel like it's probably way too fast for me.
yogi_bear's review places the blade at a solid OFF speed (as does Stiga), but others (paddlepalace included) seem to think the blade is actually OFF-. Does anyone have any experience with the Intensity NCT, preferably in cpen, who can confirm how fast it is? A comparison to the speed of YEO/Ma Lin Soft Carbon would be great. Thanks! |

It is noticeably slower and more linear (less catapult) than the YEO. I believe it is faster than the MLSC though. I would say OFF- is more accurate than OFF unless you can get a particularly heavy blade around 90g. The heaviest I was able to find at the time I tried it was 86g, which felt like OFF-.
