whats with ukraine pumping out choppers?? We got 3 ukraineans in last few years in our club and they are all 2000+ choppers, the men and the women.
I played one of them at a tournament and beat him 3:2. His first tournament in USA and because of his loss to me he got 1910 initial rating, but he's 2050 now. Next tournament I played his 1700/ 16 yr old son who was two wing looper, and was up 2:1, and his dad came and coached him and I lost 2:3. *Sigh*

Apparently there are lotq of good players coming out of Ukraine, not just defenders. My best ever coach was an Ukrainian too and for quite some time he was second best in Belgium. Ovtcharov's father is from there too, also pretty known way back then in Ukraineq

In Ukraine we have a lot of talents, but our sport is not famous here. We can't get any support from state to develop TT. And it's sad
