Old but good, for people who think that ripping insane shots from both sides is a recent invention.  I know video quality is not perfect but good enough to enjoy two amazing players when they were young.  Even on match point.

Keranga had so much top spin on a backhand around the 8:40 mark. How did they do it before Tenergy? LOL

In those days they used so much speed glue that if a bird flew over the table the fumes would cause it to crash into a wall.

If you've never watched this match, you're in for a treat. Give the audio a little bit to start; there's english commentary.

p.s. There are some uploads of this match on youtube which feature it in its entirety, but the video was chopping when I checked them.

How about some modern matches with the big ball? I've got this one for you guys. You can learn a ton of stuff from this one, because the angles, slow motion, and hd quality make it very easy to see what they are doing. Also, it's in short form(thanks janus). More looping less ball picking. So far the best match video on youtube for people who want to learn modern looping.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSg-DLYvK6Y

(1998 U.S. Open Hardbat Open highlights:  Tannehill vs. Hoff; May vs. Boggan; Tannehill vs. May) 1 minute 29 seconds

In the brief excerpt from the Tannehill/Hoff match, check out Hoff's long range defense, backhand counterattacking sallies and the 46-year-old Tannehill's forehand attack and defense.  Piaoliang.

In the snippet of the Boggan/May match, watch how the 68-year-old Boggan crosscourts May at an ungettable angle.  Yeah, a highlight moment to be sure, but years and years of experience; very few men, and no boys at all, could have made that shot.

In the Tannehill/May match excerpt, note both players' ability to transition from attack to defense and Tannehill's two successful drop shots.  Table tennis as it should be played--acoustic and unplugged.

HD quality! Rallies and supershots are ridiculous, feel like I'm watching tennis or billiards. Thank you Adham Sharara for saving the sport! This match wouldn't have been possible.

While the aforementioned matches are all fine and dandy in and of themselves, let us turn our attention to two legends, squaring off in a match of epic proportion - the 2000 Olympic Final from Sydney, Australia —
