I have no experience w Stiga's premium offerings.  I am curious as to the general consensus out there...Are Stiga's premium wood blades considered quality blades?  I have read the occasional negative review, so I am curious.  Thanks all.

Most of the issues people have with Stiga revolve around quality control. Many complain that the blades are too rough from the factory, but I do not find this a problem, as it does not effect the playing qualities. The handles just need to be sanded down a little bit on a few of them.

Generally Stiga have a very good reputation for producing high quality blades. With all brands you will occasionally come across bad reviews but there are a lot of very good reviews out there for Stiga's products, especially their blades which have been very popular among Chinese players both provincial and national for some time :)

This theme is discussed in different threads here. For a long time Stiga had big problems with the build-quality of their blades. In the last two years it seems, that Stiga has managed most of these problems, because my last Stiga blades (Rosewood XO, Emerald) had really good quality. On the other side I have seen pictures of some Carbonade (which is a very exclusive and expansive blade) with a really ugly outer veneer.
