Hello,

Looking for a good looping blade to learn on, anyone know the difference between these two blades?

Yasaka Sweden Classic
Yasaka Sweden Classic Japan

Do they have the same wood material? Handle sizes? Weight? I reached out to Yasaka with no reply. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also how do they compare to the Yasaka Extra?

Thank you

Yasaka Sweden Extra is faster than those two. You can get the details on the Yasaka website.
I like putting heavy topspin on the ball...

Thanks NextLevel, the website has info on the Sweden Extra which I have heard is different than the original Extra. Harder wood material, less control so I've heard, not sure if its true.

That's not been my experience but maybe I just like the blade,  The handle design is different but it plays great and has fantastic control and balance.

Sweden Classic Japan has 'Yasaka' emblem on the bottom of the handle (passes more stringent quality control, I imagine).  Other than that, no difference in performance.

I was wondering the same thing. I contacted Yasaka through facebook, here was the answer...

"Hello Sam it's the same. We have changed the design since 1 year but it's the same construction." July 23, 2016
