XuShaFa (XSF) is running a promotion regarding their 1-star training balls. These are seamless 40+ poly balls.  Our club is thinking of purchasing some. Does anyone have any experience with these?

It would depend on when the balls were manufactured.  The first few batches of club training balls were eggs (I got mine about 11 months ago), very annoying to play with for anything other than multiball.  I've heard more recent productions of the XSF balls have been better though.

Well, we're looking at purchasing balls now, so it's fair to assume a manufacturing date of this Fall. And I have a bunch of the three star balls, so I'm generally familiar with the seamless type.  However, I've never seen, much less played with, the XSF one-star ball.

It's more consistent throughput the lot compared to other one star p seamless p balls that iv tried( stag, ap etc)ie less egg balls . It's fairly durable though the playability accounts only for multiball training ( which is what it's meant for, so it works). It's good enough for super beginners to use since the quality is fairly good for a 1 star

My experience with a batch one year ago was like schen's full of eggs. I don't know if they've improved since then.

This is the official training ball in my club and it feels way better than DHS 40+. We have got hundreds of XSF one star so I don't particularly remember some being egg shaped. Most probably there are such. Durability of those seems to be very, very good. We use them without any issues with Newgy 2050 and the other robot (some sort of BTY)

Some ppl in our club got it a month back too, so yeah it's a recent batch! No idea from where they got it though.

I guess those balls come from a vendor here, in Belgium. Nothing fancy. I can always ask if someone wants to know

i ordered 70 from an online shop in belgium two months ago and they are not at all good.

i have since ordered 70 1 star kinson from hongkong (tks to recommends on this and other forums) and they are much better than the 1 star xsf we have. we can't use the 1 star xsf even for multiball, the bounce is so irregular.

Out of curiosity, which shop did you order from?
