Do you have anybody this blade? Looking in FL handle.
I think the composition is: Limba-limba-aramid carbon-ayous-aramid carbon-limba-limba, as Innerforce series.

SAC looks like is still selling (not discontinued) and not many reviews. TT11's pic is clearly a limba top ply.
Don't mean to go off topic but that graphic is not Schlager like, LOL. He never spread his legs and get that low on a loop in his later career. |

Only two Schlager blades have Hinoki- the W. Schlager and the Schlager Light. The Schlager Precision and the Schlager Inspire both do not have Hinoki, as well as the Schlager All+ and the Schlager Aramid Carbon.

limba? That was unexpected for a 'schlager' blade.

If you look at the pictures on tt-maximum.com, it's actually clearly not hinoki, but limba, and from the handle picture, you do see some blue fiber sticking out, so it is probably not pure carbon.
I had forgotten Butterfly also had non ALC composite blades, with the Kreanga powerkev and this one. I suspect they were experimental/outsourced models aimed at making money off the names. Edited by Bran - 12/05/2015 at 2:32am |

I don't think it's aramid, just carbon.
The top ply is obviously hinoki. The middle is probably balsa. |
