Does anyone know when and where that new Donic Ovtcharov blade, the ALC one, will be sold?

That's what they say in the vid. Thinner carbonado layer, more wood feel. Sounds good, actually.

This is also being confirmed by the Table Tennis World magazine (April issue), that lower density textreme will be used (100g/m2 in 145/190, while 62g/m2 in 45/90).

The same issue of TTW also mentions about that:
- Eternity VPS V has a dyed limba outer, supposinglly faster than the original Internity's limba outer - DHS Bo B1 has similar construction with 506, but the outer is changed to koto |

S = nonporous sponge (less catapult, more linear) P = porous sponge (more catapult) (it is like bluefire M and bluefire JP ) whereas MX means hard, EL means medium, and FX means soft. |

S and JP are still porous sponges, but smaller pores than P or M. Just so people don't expect solid sponges from olden times.

If you're referring to the "Ovtcharov True Carbon", they're expecting it to be available in June 2016, but it might take a little longer to make it into the stores. |

Valor Premier with sponge (short pips) is new for 2016. I tested it and liked it very much. Available in 3 thicknesses.

Added Tibhar VS Unlimited, the Vladi-badged version of the CCA. Not sure if there are any differences in construction yet.

Does anyone know when the new Stiga rubbers will be made available (mantra & genesis)? Any information on how they're supposed to play?

Someone on a german forum has heard from Tibhar and says that the VS Unlimited is slightly harder and faster than the CCA Unlimited.
I've also added Joola Samba Tech, made in Germany: http://www.contra.de/product_info.php/info/p14632_Joola-Belag-Samba-Tech.html

I played with cca and found it very fast and elastic . For me was difficult to controll my shots. If the VS is even faster is not good but is good if is harder Edited by carmelomaf - 05/01/2016 at 1:54pm |

Contra has it listed as 4-8 days away, so I guess it's imminent.

It reminds me of the Donic Crest series... I wonder if it's made in the same place using the same technology.

They do look similar, have similar prices etc. The Ov True Carbon is another one which might be from the same source. I was looking at a Yinhe Venus.3 (the super expensive one) the other day and was struck at the similarity with my Crest AR+ in terms of design and materials. It made me wonder...
