Id say necessary is the wrong word here.Hes not doing it intentionally it's a natural reaction of his body.Multiball is very physically demanding.

He probably has the worst FH in the top 50 pro players. BH looks awesome though.

I thought his bh is short pips, but in the video it looks like inverted, the way he spins the ball.
