For sale is a Butterfly Gergely Tamca 5000, black tag, serial number starting with G, in very good condition ( no dings on the sides ), 84 grams - 200 euro and a Custom Butterfly ZLC, one of a kind, different serial number than usual Butterfly blades, has ZL Carbon on both sides as you can see in photos. It was the blade of a sponsored Butterfly player, it has 95 g, Anatomic handle. It is a great blade, unfortunately it is too heavy for me. Better than any innerforce I tried, stable, a lot of spin and power, both close and far from table. I am willing to sell this for 600 euros without shipping. This is not a ordered custom blade from Butterfly, it is the blade of a Butterfly sponsored player. It is unique in feeling, control and doesn't have the kind of vibration you could expect from a classic innerforce zlc. I am currently playing with it, it is a lot better than any other blade I have ever tried ( and I've tried over 200 in the last 10 years ). But I have tendinitis and the weight of this blade is simply too much for my arm.

So basically, it's a custom blade for that specific sponsored player. You're still using it even though you have tendonitis because it is fantastic and it's up for sale for 600euros/ 680usd at the same time. right? Nothing makes sense to me.

What make sense to me is this. I too have a similar one myself. BUT IT IS A SAMPLE BLADE FROM BUTTERFLY!
To my knowledge, Sponsored players are given sample blades to try out... no surprise to me if the seller actually got one from a player.
But we can't deny the possibility that the innerforce ZLC selling here is a sponsored blade for the player himself only. Butterfly has their own unique way of doing stuff after all.   Edited by proSpin - 03/17/2016 at 11:45pm |
