From an online shop, I recently ordered a YEO CPen with a light weight requirement. Received it today. The weight requirement is met. However, there seems to be a problem with its dimension: the head size is shorter than I expected (161*149 vs 163*149), and the very top of the head shows a little irregular shape with signs of sanding.
I have a suspicion that the seller sanded the blade to meet the weight requirement, but it's hard to imagine taking so much effort to get rid of such an easy-to-sell blade. Before making a judgment, I would like to make sure that my YEO is indeed short in length. What are the head sizes of your YEO CPens? Thanks, guys! |

I measured my two YEO (Japan and Euro), including some other models like G5, YE, Ma Lin Carbon and they are all spot on at 163mm in length. However one Ma Lin Soft Carbon in particular is a tad shorter at 162mm. Not sure if they have ever made some even shorter out of production discrepancy.

Thanks. It seems YASAKA has discrepancies.
Though I didn't measure them, my YE and Malin Carbon were significantly longer than my old YEO. Never played Malin Soft Carbon.

It's an online shop in Europe. I have had pretty good experiences with them so far.
Maybe it's just production discrepancy.

I don't trust "official answers". I once asked butterfly about their Cpen dimensions. Their official answers turned out to be useless. For example, they said the length for TB ACL and Photino are both 157, while they are both actually 161.

Well photino is definitely 161 but TB ALC should be 157.

I'm getting a YEO JTTAA version this week. I'm getting worried

Based on my past experience, it's primarily the discrepancy between actually blades and official statistics. Rarely saw two blades with significantly different dimensions.
But clearly production discrepancy does exist. TurboZ's two YEO have the same length as YE, while my two YEOs both are significantly shorter than YE. I measured two TB ALCs, they are both 161. Hope more people can provide dimension information of your CPens. Thanks!
