Does anybody have any information on what the difference between a Nittaku Resist and Nittaku Resist II is?

Thanks.

I only know that it has less thickness from 6.2 mm to 5.6~5.7 mm. Perhaps less speed ?

Are you certain? What is your source? Paddle Palace shows the Nittaku Resist as 5.7mm thick.

The 2016 Nittaku catalog doesn't say much.

Thanks.  But from everything I can find the Resist II is the same as the Resist?  Either that, or Paddle Palace has the wrong info posted for the Resist.  The best I can figure is that any change is subtle.  Maybe it is a .5mm thickness change?

www.pingpong.ee/toode/764-Nittaku-Resist
This site said that it has 6.2 'm thickness on the previous one.
However I have no vernier caliper for measuring mine. But I hve compared the thickness between this blade with Matsushita pro special and it is quite similarly in thickness.

I measured my three Nittaku Resist blades at the throat and the thicknesses range from 5.95mm to 6.05mm.  That's an average of around 6.0mm.

I guess I'll have to buy a Resist II and see for myself.

Well, PP will be at the Nationals.  Call James Winkelman (sp?) at PP and ask him to bring one there.

PP shows the regular Resist and not Resist II.  That's part of my question.  Should I get another Resist  (I'm very much into backups and spares) while they are still available.  That may be the smart move since I could easily see me staying with this blade for more than ten years. Or should I experiment with the Resist II?  Oh ... such a dilemma ...
