Hi guys,
I'm thinking of changing my FH Donic Barracuda for the Tibhar Evolution series of 5Q. Due to the barracuda's "longevity". BTW does any 1 know which rubber us the loudest between the Evo or 5Q series? thanks |

Loudest evo is fxp. You would find 5q slightly faster than baracuda but have the same level of spin and better durability. I suggest you get the 5q vip

The 5q topsheet (the updated version) doesn't perform too well with the plastic balls, Atleast for me. Still works good if yu hit through the spring as in drive more. It was my preferred bh rubber for celluloid and with plastic it just doesn't offer the same level of spin on brush loops as it did with celluloid ( again, this is my personal opinion).

If I was in Donic management, I would release a new rubber with today's modern open-pored, boosted, 47 deg sponge with Baracuda topsheet. Call it a Baracuda update. There will be buyers.

P1 topsheet is very different from Baracuda's and the sponge is 50 dg, not 47.
