Japan is table tennis heaven for shopping table tennis goods.
I purchased total 13 blades, never bought so many blades at one time.

I bought 1 fortius FT at kyoto:

I bought 4 fortius FT, 1 Acoustic 92.5 Gr!!!!, 1 Viscaria Special Order, 1 Nittaku Goriki at Kokusai Takkyu Takanobaba branch:

I bought 1 rosewood V 95 gr, 1 Ebenholz V 95 gr, 1 Clipper Wood 96 gr ( faster than Clipper CC 94 gr), 1 SK7 Special Order 93 gr:

And Finally I bought 1 Acoustic Inner Carbon 93 gr at Karahashi Table Tenis shop.

All of them in one Picture:

I really like Stiga for Japanese market, the finishing, performance of the blade is better than China and normal Stiga blades.

Thanks for your advise, I normally use 1 coat of waterbased varnish to seal my blades. Waterbased glue stick harder than voc glues.

The special order is 87 gr, the fish scale is 90 gr, the right one is 91 gr.
The right one has a dry and hollow feel.
The fish scale has a soft butter and springy feel.
I like the fish scale over the right one.
The special order has more solid, harder feel, the bounce is more stable than the commercial.
I really understand why it cost 3x than the commercial version now....

Yes, Japan and China are the best country to buy Stiga blades.
It's more expensive than regular Stiga for european/other country market.

Well I will not play all those blades at the moment. I like collecting blades, especially the
good and handpicked one. Bouncing the ball with bare blades already satifies me Wink

Butterfly custom blades do not have lenses or print on the blade face.

To make a difference between mass produced blades and custom made blades Wink
Plastic lense is cheap, the value of special versions is on the choice of wood material.
It's selected, not by random.

I love the looks of the Goriki, never heard of this one before. Are those inner layers all kiso hinoki?

The shop sells Tenis, badminton and Table Tennis.
I forgot the name of the shop, I will check the invoice later.
Here is the location of the store:

Actually I had a lunch at this Ramen shop, when I went back to the station,
I saw a shop that sell sport goods. The Ramen taste good, I like the fried rice.

https://goo.gl/maps/SoewgwybS3x

It's near Daigoji Temple, it's very nice and it's not crowded like Fushimi Inari or Kiyomizudera.

It's not a ready stock blade, If you want to buy, must order it, wait for 20 days for making it.
I only found 1 pcs among 3 shops that I visited Tongue
Yes it's 4 ply of Hinoki in the middle and 2 thin layer of Walnut top ply.

That sounds like an amazing combination, would love to hear how that plays. Of course you might not want to put rubbers on such a special blade. Embarrassed

If you remember the name of the shop, let me know. I haven't been to Fushimi area yet.
I'm currently at Kyoto University (north of Kyoto JR Station).

Since I'm asking anyway, do you know any clubs in Kyoto? thanks so much

Here is the name of the shop:

I ride JR from Kyoto station to Rokujizo Station.
It has only a few selection of table tennis stuff there.
It's more Badminton and Tennis racket available for sale there.

I'm not sure about table tennis club in Kyoto, since I haven't seen any yet.
Just ask bway shop then Wink
