It's a very good blade. It's one of those blades where you can't blame your equipment. Just be careful and specify the weight you want Korbel can vary 15grams . My current Korbel weighs 100 grams and my spare is 98 grams.

It's a good blade, a bit hard for my taste. I've bought mine from Japan, as I didn't want the European version(there is a LOT more vibration in the European models I've tried). My son plays with Korbel, I have one that is 95 and the other one is 100 grams.

Where could I find 1, say ST/An. handle, with weights around 92-95g? Big smile

3 minutes? What rubber were you using? I guess this is why different players like different equipment. My Korbel T05 set up is excellent and has honestly improved my game . It cured my ej virus. I had 5 or 6 blades in waiting I sold without even trying cause of this set up. Too bad my training partner became infected with the ej virus now... haha

yes the handle just felt too narrow. im really fussy about handles and the wings of blades. the only blades I really like is stiga for the handles but stiga don't make a blade I like.

I like the donic wsc its the best blade I have ever used. today I sanded mine so the wings are the same shape as a stiga legend. I just hope it does not affect the flexy of the balde too much

I think korbel was a nice feeling blade but just could not like the handle

To those with new versions of petr korbel blade. Do your blades have serial numbers? And are those new korbel without serial numbers authentic???

Yogi_bear: Yes and no, European is authentic without serial, Japan version is authentic with serial. So Japan version without serial is fake.

If it doesn’t say made in Japan on the lens, then it’s the european version.

Also, I’ve only seen straight and anatomically handles on the European version of the «new» Korbel. The Japan versions I’ve seen has all been with flared handle

The European Petr Korbel blades I have recently seen have darker coloured handles and more head heavy...

How sure would you be that the euro version is an authentic one and not just a knock off Because people can claim that it is a euro version ?

My friend has two. Both purchased from Tees Sports, the U.K.'s preferred Butterfly distributor...

My Japan Korbels were both brought on this forum and the differences are as I previously stated...

I tested one time  (3 hours) New Korbel Made in Japan  and for me this Korbel is a little faster and stiffer than the old.

I like more it.  The next Korbel will be the best Wink, because the one thing missing from korbel is more speed.

New Korbel´s handle is reminds me of Viscaria´s handle.

New Korbel made in Japan is faster thans Old Korbel made in japan and New Korbel made in Europe

If people wanted a slightly speedier Petr Korbel, with today's (Fall 2018) available blades, wouldn't the Korbel SK7 be already what they're looking/waiting for?

It’s quite a bit thinner than the Viscaria, so if you like a thinner handle, you’ll like the Korbel’s handle better

Yes bought mine from them. Japan/serial #, safety lens/ silver tag ST. 87gr. The grip is ok but could be a bit thicker. Killer with MXP, Rozena, Rising Dragon. Not so hot with short pips on the BH. Wood in the handle is greyish not brown.
