Hi all,
I would like to know what is the most similar pip out like Dr. Neubauer Superblock? Does everybody know it?

There is nothing that is close to it since frictionless pips are banned since 2008. If you want to play a similar style based on heavy spin reversal use a frictionless anti like Dr. Neubauer Buffalo. |

Use it on a very heavy, FAST, THICK composite OFF ++ blade to maximize the reversal (really spin continuation)
Advantage is there will be max reversal, ability to punch hard vs underspin, and a KILLER FH crush kill on loose balls that come to FH or those you see coming with a step around.

If it is the regular dawei 388 d-1 then it is NOT similar to Superblock as it has some grip (though there are much grippier pips). And if it is a treated version (frictionless!) then it would be illegal to use in tournament play. |

================== Keep using it until it gets very old (no treatment), thus loses some friction. Probably will still have some friction left. But don't know if it will behave like Superblock.

Just take any of your old long pips and leave them in the sun for a little bit or give it some UV exposure to turn them into frictionless LPs. Many people still boost their rubbers, so why not?

Dunno if these are the same as the enlarged 388d-1 at ttnp ,I tried those and they were difficult to glue on and ridiculously expanded ,didn`t play well at all, there was a paraffin like smell coming from them, any decent umpire would spot them I reckon
