I've been using the Yasaka Extra Special for a while after the British Airways decided they love my Barwell Fleet so much and won't return it to me (as well as my luggage). The YES feels great and produces good spin, but still lacks a bit of power away from the table. So I'm looking for a new all wood blade to replace it (can't afford another composite as still have to buy all other stuff again). Can anyone recommend me a really fast one with hardwood top plies? Thanks.

Thank you all for the responses (even though some blades mentioned above are not all wood, lol). I played with the Mazunov before and didn't really like it. The Rosewood XO is bot even as fast as the YES in my opinion, but is a really nice blade as well. Probably will give the Samsonov Force Pro a try.

You can try the yinhe pd437, isnt expensive either.Has good feel its solid off blade and weighs 90+gr .Thickness 7mm ,head dimensions 158mmx151mm with a nice flared handle.Kind of stiff with no vibrations.Worth a try.

If you can find either of them, Yinhe 607 and 617 are both awesome blades with crispy feeling and speed. Also take look at Donic Ultra Power.

I am using Adidas Challenge Speed. I haven't tried any all wood blade faster than this. It is even faster than some of my carbon blades.

Blade all seven layers of wood. Blade fast, but always maintains a large touch of the ball in all situations.

I don't know how important in your choice is a hard wood ,but if they didn't have to be a condition , I give a thumbs-Joola Viking Off .(Limbo, Anegre,Ayous,Ayous,Ayous,Anegre,Limbo ) . Much I knife heard ,but after that what he had with him a few hours to play ,this fantastic blade for little money . Pair it with a regular Rhyzm max and Acuda S2 max and you have the combo into the middle distance with a wonderful feeling and control in every stroke . I also tried Rhyzm P ,but regular Rhyzm on this knife literally shines in every aspect of the game .In addition, to generate the rotation in the plastic of the ball is so easy . My friend had a Black Edition MXP on both sides and it gives far less rotation and puts a lot of effort to spin the ball . In addition, the Black Edition is far more direct and often ended with the ball on the network . The Viking has a higher arc and a much better feeling . Joola Black Ross also a good knife ,but a little felt vibration, unlike the Viking , which is firm and stable .
Happy choice !
Wolf.
Donic Crest Off
FH-Donic Acuda S2 Max
BH-Tibhar ELP 1.9

Donic Crest AR+
FH-Joola Maxxxp 2.0

i'm more familiar with bty and second mazunov. that thing flies. BUT from long-time players and briefly hitting with sardius, they say it's better than mazunov, and feels like all wood. my recommendation if going with bty

Yasaka Synergy (11-ply)
Nimatsu Maestro Off

Edit: a few more came to my mind, but they have Hinoki as outer ply, so they don't fit your criteria.

Yinhe pd 437 (6.8-7.0), tibhar cca 7 and ginhe pd 537. These are all 7mm+ blades and are faster than the force pro black edition or clipper cc and the ebenholz 7
