never bought it, tried it, great rubber for your backhand, but not so much enough power for forehand

A teammate and I use Nodias for our backhand. We both have weker backhands and use spin and control there in order to set up our more powerful forehands. It seems to work very well for that and allows you to generate a lot of spin. Nodias has a very grippy, almost tacky topsheet and isn't very bouncy with a medium sponge so shots tend to not be very fast and do require wrist movement. At least without speedglue (as we've used it) it doesn't add power to your shots but that does translate to good control on touch shots over the table. So I think it is a good backhand rubber for players looking for control rather than power. Maybe if you speedglue it would be faster. It is fairly heavy. -- Andrew |

I actually use Nodias without speedglue for good control. If you want more power speedglue is an option but I haven't tried it as that's not what I'm looking for on my backhand. You can use most any rubber without speedglue, you just won't be able to do certain things with it. -- Andrew |

Better speedglue it.It had too much control and spin but not enough speed the bh needs. Its abit on the weighty side too.Overall a very good bh rubber I must say.I changed to Sriver FX and Coppa Tagora after it and I feel I'll be sticking with Tagora for quite a while.

Hope it works for you. I'm planning to get another sheet for my back up blade. -- Andrew |
