Yeah, perhaps like the Fang Bo 2 with a koto outer. At that price the HL5's overall quality might be missing. Fang Bo 2 is still amazing bang for buck though, so it looks interesting!

The FB2 is a good blade for the money. Slightly hollow feel but plays well, and so cheap - $40 from ttnpp. Hopefully this will be along the same lines.

Interested in Aurus Prime/Select. By tibhar ratings, Evo rubbers still have more spin. If anyone gets their hands on these please post a review.

Mizuno release new site about Fortius FT Ver.D Looks like - Limba (Coloured) - Dual Web - Ayous (Coloured) - Hinoki - Ayous (Coloured) Not really sure what Dual Web is - looks like a grey-coloured woven polyester fibre layer. Some nice pics on the link above.

Donic Bluestorm vid. Interestingly, Z1 has a "medium" pore sponge, Z2 and Z3 have "large" pores. And the topsheets are different too. Bit harder than usual to pigeonhole this range.

Two new products by Dr. Neubauer! The Rhino anti which sounds like an improved version of the Bison and the Matador Texa blade. That seems to be an artificial fiber (based on the blade name maybe Texalium?) version of my beloved Matador, which is a 7-ply blade with walnut outers.
Dr. Neubaer Rhino anti Dr. Neubauer Texa blade |
