Hi Guys,
I was able to purchase this Adidas Feng Tian Wei Limited Edition blade today. I don't know anything about it. Can some one tell me more about this blade? For example: out of what layers this blade consists and where you might be able to buy it or what it's worth? Was this a special collaboration piece with Adidas for Feng Tian Wei? Is that carbon arylate on 2nd layers or spruce? If it is srpuce then it is like avenger 5.

The surface ply looks like walnut.
Why is there a crack in the handle?

It looks like the lens was too big for the hole they cut for it, and the handle cracked because of it.

I bought it in a table store in the Netherlands who were an official adidas dealer. I'm not even questioning if it's an original, because i buy all my table tennis stuff there. They didn't have any information on it either, since it was in an adidas clearance sale. If anyone has any info, I'd like to know :)

Probably something that was not really released officially because they ended the company for tt. At best maybe it was some sort of an attempt to make a ma lin carbon.

A buddy of mine bought one too, but without the print on the blade as you can see in the pictures below. He also has a numbered version which is one number higher than mine.

I remember now, probably a remodelled avenger carbon but was never really released because ftw left adidas. She used to promote it but then left.

Can u take a pic of the sides just to fully check? The pic looks like spruce on one side but on the other pic it looks like carbon. Maybe a close up pic

Mine definitely has a carbon layer. I can clearly see the blue layer. I've attached pictures below. The blade from my buddy doesn't have carbon in it. Also added a pictures of this one more clearly. Can it be some sort of prototype versions that we're being made, but then she left Adidas before they went in production? I've purchased this at http://www.menereis.nl they are closing down their physical store and will sell web-only from now on. As mentioned above they were the the only store in the Netherlands with an premium / exclusive Adidas partnership. They were selling Adidas like no other store. I know the blades. One is a modified avemger 7 all wood with wLnut outer and the other is like an avenger carbon.

Hmmm... the layers from the Avenger Carbon look different to me (see below), but it could be. Any idea why this blade was made or the story behind it?

it is some sort of a modified avenger carbon with no spruce on it but ayous instead and the carbon is 2nd layer. that's all i was told. i think when the blades were about to be released, Adidas stopped TT sales.
