I've noticed that the Gatien name has been dropped from the Yasaka range. Are the blades like Yasaka 'Extra 3D' the same as 'Gatien Extra 3D'?

I've got an Extra 3D and I'm pretty sure it is identical to a Gatien Extra 3D. Gatien is no longer linked to Yasaka (he's with Cornilleau now I think), hence Gatien was dropped from the names of Yasaka blades.

What ever happened to the YGE3DSC? (Yasaka Jean-Philipe Gatien Extra 3D Soft Carbon)? I don't think Yasaka is producing a "non-Gatien" 3D Soft Carbon version of Extra, but was that not a popular blade?

I think there are, if you would check Speedy's blades for sale, he has two of them.
